This etching is from a series of prints I’ve done based on scenes along the train route into NYC or along the highways in NJ. My artist’s book, “Neither Here nor There” includes a number of these prints. There is a lonely suspended animation to that area between mega city and suburbs.

This is somewhere in the South Mountain Reservation. So close to a busy road was a lovely little stream. I was hoping to capture the way you can see into the water and at the same time there’s a reflection of the sky.
